SFH2 - Tower

Tower's appearance as a Juggernaut in SFH2.

"The smell of napalm."
"Come get some!"
- The Juggernaut

The Juggernaut is a class in Strike Force Heroes 2 and 3 that replaces the Tank class from Strike Force Heroes. Juggernauts use weapons such as shotguns, Elementals, and Grenade Launchers, making them close-range powerhouses. Their Killstreaks reduce damage taken, further increasing their survivability, and inflict status effects on nearby enemies.

In Strike Force Heroes 2, the Juggernaut's default weapons are an R870 and a Beretta Px4.

Statistics[]

The Juggernaut has the highest HP of all classes by a significant margin, followed by the second highest Ammo. However, he has the absolute lowest critical hit rate among the five classes.

In-Game Appearance[]

In Campaign, the Juggernaut appears as Tower, of the Strike Force, or GlobeX clones.

Overview[]

  1. Ironically, it is best to use light armor, since Juggernauts have the highest HP of all classes.
  2. Do not be afraid to charge ahead. Juggernauts can help provide cover for less durable teammates such as Snipers or Generals.
  3. Be on the lookout for the armor-restoring powerups whenever your HP is low.
  4. Melee weapons make for a great secondary weapon choice since Juggernauts often engage at close range anyway. Alternatively, Pistols can provide a way to damage enemies at longer ranges.
  5. Avoid using Elementals. Although not having to worry about reloading is nice, their short range, pitiful damage output, and risk of suicide make them a highly undesirable weapon type. It is better to stick with using Shotguns or Grenade Launchers.
  6. If Juggernauts get their hands on long range weapons such as Sniper Rifles (via modes like Gun Game or Challenges), they can cause some serious havoc.
  7. In Challenges where weapons are predetermined, the Juggernaut tends to be a great choice due to his massive HP.
  8. Use the Juggernaut's Killstreaks when you are near enemies to maximize their effectiveness. The damage reduction can still help to withstand some long range attacks.

Trivia[]

  • Due to "being with the organization for so long", he could be a member of Alpha Squad. It is possible that the Juggernaut could be Bull, although this is unlikely, as Bull and Tower's personalities are drastically different from each other.
  • The Juggernaut is the only class whose Killstreaks all perform the identical general effects of reducing damage taken and inflicting status effects on opponents. The only differences between them are the duration, area of effect, and type of status effect.
  • The Juggernaut appears to be wearing a bomb disposal suit.
  • Some Juggernauts in SFH 3 have a skin that resembles a Marine from Blizzard's StarCraft series.
