Item Status are internal status levels in Strike Force Heroes 2 and Strike Force Heroes 3 that defines its conditions for its combat ability.

Usually, low-level items are cheaper and easy to appear in the shop intended to be a quick temporary upgrade, but suffers from low values and weapons suffers every aspects, including weapon jam, which the user's weapon suddenly locks and must reload again. Higher level weapon are, in general, expensive and doesn't appear in the shop often, but performs much better than expected, offering certain advantages seen in attachments, but isn't affected by any negative effect. For example, a weapon upgraded with more armor damage doesn't change the flesh damage and vice versa, opposed to those offered by a similar attachment.

Weapons like the XM 25 or the EX 41 will suffer low clip size, making them having only 1 grenade. If compared with a rocket launcher, the latter is more useful. Note that only weapons suffers in various form, while armors and attachments suffers only in values. This is how ever not the case in Strike Force Heroes 3, where attachments have no quality.
