GlobeX (or just referred to as Globex) is a private military company/terrorist organization that is the main antagonist in the campaign of all three Strike Force Heroes games.

Not much is known about the background of this group, but they have powerful and widespread influence. This is proven by the fact that they have their own military force and the possession of nuclear warheads. Their name also has the word "Globe" in it, indicating that their influence is "Global" as Bull puts it. As a hired mercenary group/terrorist organzation, they dress uniformly and in black.

Later in Strike Force Heroes 2, they are revealed to be clones of actual soldiers, such as Beta squad. In SFH3 the scientist has taken control as the Globex leader is presumed dead (however, he is revealed to be alive in the last cutscene).

In all games except SFH3, the Globex Leader is obviously the leader of the organization. In SFH3, It is led by the scientist.

Story

Strike Force Heroes

In the original Strike Force Heroes, GlobeX (Which is spelled Globex in the game) was the primary antagonistic group. They were responsible for the virus that caused people to turn into (essentially) zombies. However, they do have some surprisingly non-evil qualities; their actions are a (misguided) attempt to contain the virus; namely by nuking the island to stop it from spreading. However, they do not listen to any other alternate means, and directly oppose Alpha Squad as a result. In this game, GlobeX soldiers are seen speaking numerous times. It would appear their Tanks are the commanders, as they are usually seen giving orders. They also seem to hire mercenaries (as seen in the cutscene after The Cure as the protagonist interrogates a soldier). In the end, however, they are stopped, after a gun battle atop a nuke against the GlobeX Leader.

Strike Force Heroes 2

In this game, GlobeX are again the antagonists. In this game, it is revealed that they are clones (Though this somewhat contradicts the previous game), and are completely silent as well. After taking over the mysterious space satellite, they proceed to attack the second squadron, and serve as the main enemies for the entire campaign as the squad attempts to put a stop to the clones. In the end, most of the squadron is either dead (West, Dex) or captured (Nathan, Jyn and Tower), leaving it all up to the Rookie to stop them. After encountering a large mech inside of the clone factory, the rookie manages to get a hold of power armor and engages the Globex Leader once again, who survived thanks to cloning. Even after being forced to fight three clones at once as the mech's defenses attacks the rookie, he manages to kill the Leader once more. It is then revealed the Scientist was a traitor, and he takes over GlobeX afterwards.

Strike Force Heroes 3

In this game, GlobeX itself actually appears very sparsely; they are only seen in the first and last cutscenes in the game (In-game, battles are merely against random individuals with very little story involved). The Scientist uses clones of the heroes, along with a massive clone army, to invade and cause destruction everywhere. However, eventually, the army is defeated, and after a battle against two powerful clones, the Scientist gets enraged, kills his league of officers, and prepares to infiltrate the Heroes directly. Afterwards, Wesley received a transmission from what looks like GlobeX Leader who claims to know information about GlobeX that was leaded by The Scientist.

These are the missions they participated in the first game's campaign:

• Missions 1 & 5: Attempted to eliminate all Scientists in the Facility, and retrieve all intelligence.
• Mission 3: Attempted to kill all members of the Strike Force.
• Mission 6: Attempted to stop the Strike Force from getting the Cure.
• Mission 7 & 10: Attempted to defend their HQ.
• Mission 8: Attempted to continue aggravated assault against the facility.
• Missions 11-15: Attempted to launch the Nuke and defend it from the Strike Force.

Strike Force Heroes 2

In the second game, GlobeX appears in every single level outside of the second level.

• Mission 1: Take control of the space station and launch a satellite to control clones.
• Mission 3 : Attempted to raid the Strike Force base for unknown motivations.
• Mission 4: Attempted to prevent the Strike Force from questioning the scientist.
• Mission 5: Attempted to stop the Strike Force from getting to Lagi and get to him first.
• Mission 6: Attempted to defend their convoy from the Strike Force.
• Mission 7 & 12: Attempted to defend their base from the Strike Force.
• Mission 8: Betray and kill west (Done by Dex), and escape to kill and clone Lagi.
• Mission 9: Attempted to stop the Strike Force from getting to Lagi first.
• Mission 10: Ambushed the Strike Force while already killing Lagi and making a clone of him
• Mission 11: Attempted to kill the scientist and Strike Force.
• Mission 13: Attempted to defend the satellite from a virus being implanted by the Strike Force.
• Mission 14: Attempted to kill the Rookie/Player and successfully killed Dex.
• Mission 15: Attempted to kill the Rookie/Player on the GlobeX Mech.

Although the clone army is apparently that of GlobeX, they do not make a major appearance in the missions themselves.

Leaders of GlobeX

• In SFH 1 & 2 the leader of GlobeX is the GlobeX Leader (and his clones).
• In SFH 3 the leader of GlobeX is the Scientist.

Trivia

• The computer from which the Strike Force team retrieved the intel seems to be a personal computer as it contains personal items like a grocery list, dancing cat .gif file and a company Christmas photo. This is an easter egg put in by the developers as a joke.
• The Globex soldiers can be compared to The Helghast from The Killzone Series to some degree; Both follow extreme orders, they do not think of the lives at risk for both sides, and they both share certain physical characteristics (black armor, distinct red eyes shown with Globex's tank units)
• The GlobeX tanks in the first game look like Storm Troopers of the Star Wars franchise, but with different colors.
• In the second game, the GlobeX soldiers all wear unique variants of clothing you can equip your heroes; they have a blue tinge to certain parts (as opposed to the green tinge on your uniform), and have bright red/orange lights on them (as opposed to blue). They also sometimes have noticeably different designs that you cannot ever replicate (GlobeX Mercenary's helmet, GlobeX General's armor, etc). • There is a real world company called Globex, but it is not a private military corporation/terrorist organzation.
• The GlobeX emblem revealed in the opening cutscene of SFH3 is a copy-paste image of General Morden's sign from the Metal Slug series of games.
• Throught all of Strike Force Heroes 1 & 2, at least 305 of GlobeX's men fall in battle (not counting Domination or CTF missions), counting the four GlobeX Leader clones, the killcount rises to 309.
  • At least 125 (126 counting the GlobeX Leader's clone) of those kills are the GlobeX soldiers fought by Alpha Squad in the first game.
  • At least 180 (183 counting the GlobeX Leader's clones) are killed by the Heroes in the second game, the higher killcount is easily explained by the fact that in the second game they are clones.
