The Commando is a weapon appearing in the first two games.


Strike Force Heroes

It's an Explosive for the Commando. It has 4 rockets per clip and is the last weapon to be unlocked under the Commando Class. It is unlocked at level 32. This rocket launcher is the only rocket launcher that has more than one rocket in its ammo chamber, making it a very useful weapon. It's the upgraded version of RPG.

Strike Force Heroes 2

This weapon reappears in SFH2, but now as a 4-burst weapon, used by the Mercenary and appears always open, like the SFH in-game version. It can deal a lot of damage at once thanks to its four round burst, but generally speaking, it's a tad too impractical for its own good, as it chews through ammo like crazy, and for damage that's only barely higher than the likes of the Stinger or Javelin. It is used by Dex in the mission Gene Therapy.



  • When you are not using the Commando, the rear of the weapon is slotted in, but when you are using it, the rear has dark orange cylinders.
  • The commando is actually based on the real life rocket launcher; M202A1 FLASH (FLame Assault SHoulder Weapon), a four tubed napalm rocket launcher that was used by the U.S. forces in Vietnam.
